Hello! If you are reading this, and you are not familiar with our adventure, you might be wondering ‘how are they going to do school work?’ I mean, you have heard that Marguerite and I are in school, so you probably don’t think we are just going to take a nice, long, couple of months break, right? Right! We are starting homeschool! (don’t worry, we are going back to normal school next year!😩😛) We are new to this set up, so if you have any suggestions on how to make it better, you can comment! Marguerite and I have been doing homeschool for a couple of weeks, and since we are going to do a lot of sailing tomorrow, we have to do some of it on the weekend. Although that is a part I am not enjoying, it is nice, because I can go at my own pace (which is faster then at school) and I can get extra one-on-one help that I wouldn’t normally get at school, because instead of 28 students, there are only 2!
I do feel that Marguerite is getting more attention then me though… but that is probably because mine is more self guided, and hers is more with the teacher, since she has lots of questions with the teacher. One thing that I miss about in-person school, though, is my friends! I made so many really good friends this year, and when I was getting to know them really well, I had to leave to go on this trip! Well, there are more pros then cons. That is all concerning homeschool! Or should I say, boat school!
